I did a lot of soul searching before buying this product, wondering would it be better to buy this chair for £35 or spend a £100+. Anyway I settled on the former and am I glad I did!
The chair arrived the next day well packed and undamaged. I was a little apprehensive about putting it together but as it turned out my fears were groundless. Following clear instructions the chair went together quite nicely.
I only had ONE problem in that one of the lugs on the seat cushion used to secure one of the arm rest's was bent! After a good 5 minutes I was just able to get the bolt to bite on the thread and screw it home. If I had'nt been able to get the bolt in it would have meant sending the entire chair back!
However all was well and found the materials overall was well made, with just that one problem.
For £34.99 the chair is a steal. Construction took around 15 minutes, Is very comfortable and WELL worth the cash.
I have no problems recommending this chair and consider it an absolute bargain for the money!
After following the instructions carefully, the chair looked very good indeed, but don't be fooled. There is a fundamental issue with the chair. The chair didin't even last for a day, I sat back (very lightly I may add) and both of the arms which also is the only way the back of the chair is secured sheered from the fixings in the same place either side. I ended on the floor after falling backwards. The arms and the back are secured to the side of the chair by 4 bolts and the plastic shattered in identical places on both sides. I was amazed at how inadequate the design and quality of the product is. I emailed Amazon where they were quick to offer me a refund but I do believe this product should be taken of the market it is highly dangerous! Please do not take a chance.
